M4M1 on new frequency

For viewers tuning in to Movies4Men manually (anyone not watching on SKY Digital or Freesat platform) M4M1 as from the 28th of August 2008 will be using a new transponder and will move to the following co-ordinates:

Satellite name: EuroBird1
Transponder: C2 Lower
Downlink Freq: 11223.67
Downlink Polarity: V
FEC: 2/3
Symbol rate: 27.500

I hope this will improve the situation for Skydigital and Freesat viewers in some areas of the UK like myself and deflandermause who experienced poor reception on the current transponder! :)

Yes it seems like the switch of transponder on Eurobird1 HAS improved things;NO pixellation/NO breakup/NO nothing just good quality reception and stereosound!

I have logged on tonight to see the news of the move of frequency. Movies for men, 9.40pm, picture and sound ok. Changed to Movies for men+1, you guessed it "NO SATELLITE SIGNAL IS BEING RECEIVED". Since my last post my satellite receiver has been checked professionally and found to be OK. I know my dish is OK. I have sourced lower loss coax cable and had it fitted.
I just give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

movies4men+1 was never moving frequency though derfledermause. only movies4men was to be moving. ;)

never had any problem with any of them. :p
