Ant-Man tops US box office
Marvel's latest superhero movie adaptation, Ant-Man has topped the US box office in its opening weekend taking in $58m in ticket sales. The film marks Marvel's 12th consecutive comic adaptation to open at No.1 in the US.
The film, which had a budget of £130m, also raked in another $56.4m from overseas box office.

Meanwhile animated blockbuster Minions took second place with box office earnings of $50.2m.
The new Amy Schumer led comedy Trainwreck opening in third place taking in $30.2m.
Rounding out the rest 10 highest-grossing films in the US and Canada this weekend were Inside Out ($11.6 million), Jurassic World ($11.4 million), Terminator Genisys ($5.4 million), Magic Mike XXL ($4.5 million), Gallows ($4 million), Ted 2 ($2.7 million) and Mr. Holmes ($2.5 million).
