Nicole Kidman wins theatre award
Nicole Kidman marked her return to the stage last year by picking up the prize of Best Actress in a Play at the WhatsOnStage awards in London.
The Australian born actress won for her role as a scientist in the play Photograph 51.
Kidman can add the award to her Oscar, three Golden Globes and a BAFTA. The latest awards ceremony took place at the Prince Of Wales Theatre on sunday in London. The play itself also picked up the Best New Play gong.
Kidman beat fellow nominees Denise Gough (People, Places and Things), Lia Williams (Oresteia), Rosalie Craig (As You Like It) and Harriet Walter (Death of a Salesman), while play itself was up against The Hangmen, Oppenheimer, People, Places and Things and Farinelli and the King.
